Welcome to Declinegothica and another twelve months of the digital imagery of Dave Charsley. 2011 was a superb year for my art. Over the year I shot thirty-three models, did nine studio shoots, visited four locations, created an album cover and produced over three hundred images! Lets hope 2012 is just as good! In my first update of the year, you will see new images from my "Tokyo Gore Extreme" homage to Japanese horror films and "Fallen Beauty", my final event of 2011. In the six galleries, you'll find regular contributors Violet Raven, Miyuki Sullen, Neo Geisha, BEXX and new models Infelicitous and Gefallener Engel amongst others.
If you're a customer of Attitude Clothing and have received their winter catalogue, you may have noticed my muse the beautiful Violet Raven modelling some of the clothes. She had a really fantastic year to be honest and you can also find her dancing alongside the lovely Crimson Raine in "Halloween", the latest video from Goth rockers "Lesbian Bed Death".
My final shoot of 2011 featured BEXX, Gefallener Engel and my old friend Anansie-Fey who may remember better as Serephine, back in 2007. She's now returned to the alternative modelling scene with a new name and a fresh attitude, so expect lots more of her in the future! We went for a theme of Angels and Devils and all that might cause beauty to fall!
I start this new year of "Model Spotlights" with one featuring the beautifull Aimee L'amour. Aimee started modelling for Declinegothica in the Spring of 2008 and we have created some of my most popular images together, including "Newborn" which I've used as my cover image for the last few years. We have done nine shoots so far and they have covered everything from the retro sci fi madness of my "Alien Experiments", to the cheesy glamour of my "Cyanide Cheesecake" shoot! Aimee L'amour is a very versitile model and I look forward to working with her again in 2012!
