September
2010
Welcome to September's
update
of Declinegothica and eleven new images from my recent shoots with
Exhayle, Bea Sinful, Restless Oblivion, Violet Raven, Spike Faery and
new models Jet Noir and Black Bubblegum! I've
been spoilt with
wonderful models recently and I hope you agree it really shows in my
latest work.
By the time your reading
this I'll hopefully have shot my last images for mistress Satanic Angel's 2011 calendar
which you will be able to buy on Ebay very soon. It has several
of our favorites from the five years we've been working together plus
eight new ones that have never been published and are only available
on this calendar.
I'll tell you more and where
you can get your hands on a copy in November.
Before I go on and tell
you about my latest shoots,
a
couple of people have asked me about why I've ended posting to my
Live Journal account. It's been for a couple of reasons, one
being the amount of work involved in putting together the weekly
bulletins, but mostly it's because of the lack of response each post
was getting. I'm sorry to all the people that did like going to
read the posts on a friday but I'm hoping to develop this Decline News
page
into something more than a bi-monthly update in the future.
My "Death or Glory" shoot in July teamed my old friend's Violet Raven and Restless
Oblivion alongside two models that were new to me, Black Bubblegum and
Jet Noir. Jet Noir is better known for
her music but she is no less talented as a model and she put one
hundred and ten percent into this shoot and impressed me greatly!
As well as our dark burlesque theme, we also tried our hand at creating
two sets of images around the "Elements" and "Seasons", a preview of
which you can see in Gallery Four with "Winter".

In August,
it was my
turn to host my annual collaboration with Welsh photographer Steve
Avatar
and this year we chose six rather special models. Violet Raven,
Sarah-in-Tortureland, Flamin' Hel, Neo Geisha, Lil Necro and male model
Darkcell, were all invited
to what became one of the best shoots of the
year! We went for an exciting soft fetish theme with gas masks,
whips and chains and you can see a selection of these "White Heat"
images in my next update in November.
As is usual
for this time of year I'll be London for the Dark Mills festival and
Whitby for the Goth weekend at the end of October. So if anyone
see's me at either events, then please come say hello, it's always good
to meet new friends. They'll be another update of
Decllinegothica in early November when I get back from Whitby, but
until then, enjoy the images and
stay safe and happy.
