March 2008

Well the first two months of 2008 have been busy.  Two months in, lots of miles travelled and four shoots completed.  In addition to the three group shoots you can read about below, I've also had a solo shoot with the lovely Satanic Angel entitled "Black Venom".  You can find an image from that shoot on this update, as well as a new Wallpaper entitled "Cabaret of the Damned" and plenty more images from the first part of the year.

The first shoot of the Declinegothica year was a gore fest entitled "Terminal Choice".  I put it to principle model Violet Raven to decide on a theme and put the models together.  She decided on a team featuring herself, Russian model Alice DeVille, our friend Hex Freq and Leicester model; Demise of Sanity.  An excellent shoot was had and plenty blood was spilt!  You can see four images from this event dotted around the various galleries in this month's update.

"Terminal Choice" - Jan 20th 2008

We managed to chose one of the coldest days of the Winter for February's visit to Nottingham.  The location was an old demolished brick works where they'd left the four original chimneys standing.  I have to thank the models Lacrimosa, Adrianna, Kirani Nightshade and Adrianna, for braving the nasty conditions and icy wind, just for a mad photographer!  You can see the first image; "Warriors of Watnall" in gallery three.

"Warriors of Watnall" - Feb 3rd 2008

In middle Feb, I took a trip to Cardiff to do a joint shoot with my friend Steve Chorley from Avatar Photography.  We used the ruins of Beaupre Castle as a location and were blessed with the stunning RYO as a model for the afternoon.  I'm looking forward to putting some of these images on Declinegothica in May, as these are some of my favourite images so far this year.
